More WGP - second box this week

After Wednesday's arrival it seems greedy to get another. But hey, there won;t be another such delivery for many weeks / months - just happened to pick a lot up in quick time.



This box, once again from Anne Elwick over in Wiesloch, Germany, contained four more vases - fewer as one of them was a large floor vase.

I was intending to head out this morning on a buying run but am only just getting over the flu and I am really not up to much.

Wednesday New Arrivals

Okay, here we go - let's try to get blogging regularly again.



I'm a sickie - nothing more than a heavy cold but being male it's got me close to death in a way the female of the species just doesn't understand. (I'm kidding of course, it's just a regular cold but I've been working from home this week to prevent risking passing this bug onto my colleagues.)



Anyway, three days into my self-imposed internal exile I'm starting to go stir-crazy and so the arrival of a large box promising goodies was a welcome sight.



I stopped buying items from eBay apaert from ones close enough to where I live last years (after some broken-vase disasters). But there is a definite exception. There's a dealer in Germany going by the username annee6706 who I trust implicitly to do a perfect packing job. And once more she did me proud. How time gets away from you

When I started this blog I had meant to regular post entries about my growing obsession with WGP. And I did for a while. Then life got very busy. As Christmas approached I had a number of holidays to take (else risk losing) and so planned a couple of trips - one to Tongeren in Belgium for the express purpose of collecting (as it included a trip to a flea market in the Netherlands as well as the weekly antiques market in Tongeren itself) and the other to Cologne/Dusseldorf for the Christmas markets and to meet up with friends.

(The trip to Cologne did also include a side trip to the Netherlands flea market so wasn't totally without pottery.)

In between these have also been several trips to antique fairs and centres as well as some charity shop rummaging so there have been a number of new items joining their friends on my shelves - and some new shelves to make further expansion possible. But no blogging. No time.

I will try to correct this in future but sorry - no guarantees.
